Dr William Ng is an Australian physician-scientist registered with the Medical Board of Australia. After graduation he trained in internal medicine and other clinical subspecialties at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Australia, before coming to Japan to pursue medical research. His PhD at Juntendo University was followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Keio University. His clinical interest is dermatology and he has published papers in dermatology, immunology/allergy and regenerative medicine. Dr Ng has been involved in professional medical editing for over 5 years, specializing in drug discovery and Phase IV studies from pharmaceutical companies in addition to clinical papers from university hospitals in Japan. He has edited over 300 dermatology research papers and case studies. Dr Ng joined the Edanz Group as an editor in 2013.
