    Academic Background

    Dr Webb obtained her PhD in 2006 from the University of Ottawa in the field of plant molecular biology. Specifically, she studied gene expression in soybean root nodules to understand their development. From 2008 to 2011, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at UCLA studying the circadian rhythms of plants in Arabidopsis.

    Publishing History

    Dr Webb has published papers in the Canadian Journal of Botany, the Journal of Plant Physiology, and Plant Physiology.

    Editing and Reviewing Experience

    Dr Webb has been an editor since 2011, editing scientific papers in many fields, including plant and animal biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, medicine, environmental science, chemistry, physics, geology, and engineering. She has also worked as a scientific copy editor and as a managing editor. Dr Webb joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2020.
