Academic Background
During her graduate research, Ms Raley studied the effects of the probiotic Lactobacillus acidophilus on brine shrimp. For her undergraduate research, she examined the histological changes in lung tissue from cats with heartworm-associated respiratory disease. She worked as a histotechnologist for 8 years at two veterinary medical labs (Auburn University and North Carolina State University) and at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina. She now works as a full-time freelance editor.
Editing Experience
Ms Raley has been a freelance scientific and medical editor since 2017. She received her BELS certification and joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2018.
