Specializing in the field of Internal Medicine, Dr Ivković is a resident in Nephrology at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb’s Department of Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis and Transplantation. His PhD examined the influence of adipokines on blood pressure and hypertension. Dr Ivković is well versed in biostatistics and epidemiology; he has performed complete statistical analyses for over 15 papers. Dr Ivković has extensive editing experience and has been a part of the Editorial Board for Medicine, Baltimore, since 2014. He currently serves as secretary of the Society for Nephrology Advancement. His personal fields of interest are endemic nephropathy, cardiovascular risk factors (mainly adipokines and modifiable risk factors) and epidemiology of cardiovascular disease and salt. Dr Ivković joined Edanz Group as a research consultant in 2015. He is comfortable working in all branches of internal medicine; in addition to above, he can do: cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology & hepatology, hematology, oncology, cardiovascular disease, clinical pharmacology, metabolism & rare disease, intensive medicine and critical care, immunology, allergy and rheumatology and basics of urology, nephrology covering clinical nephrology & glomerular disease, dialysis, hypertension, genetic epidemiology and transplantation. Teaches medicine, emergency medicine, clinical skills and public health, study design and biostatistics.
