    Dr Pascoe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Cape Town. She is an experienced speech and language therapist with a special interest in children’s speech, language, and literacy development. Her current projects focus on cross-cultural adaptation of speech and language assessments, typical and atypical speech and language acquisition in the languages of Southern Africa, multilingualism, and ways to support clinicians when working with families from a range of language and cultural backgrounds.

    Publishing History

    Dr Pascoe is on the editorial boards of Child Language Teaching and Therapy, and the South African Journal of Communication Disorders. She is the co-author of two books on speech and language development and difficulties, and has written several chapters on speech difficulties; she has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers.

    Editing experience

    Dr Pascoe edits in the fields of health sciences, education, and linguistics, and joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2013.
