    Academic Background

    Dr Woodhouse holds a BSc in Human Physiology and a PhD in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine. During her time at university, she studied topics ranging from neuroanatomy, pharmacology, and endocrinology to embryonic development, exercise physiology, and inherited disorders. Dr Woodhouse specializes in editing manuscripts for publication in international journals in general medicine, surgery, and the life sciences in accordance with a number of widely used referencing styles, including Chicago, AMA, APA, Harvard, and Vancouver. She specializes in helping ESL authors to achieve maximum impact publications. She has experience in GraphPad, Origin, and EndNote reference management software.

    Editing and Reviewing Experience

    Dr Woodhouse has edited over 250 manuscripts for publication in world-leading journals, including Nature, Annals of Internal Medicine, The British Medical Journal, and The Lancet. She has also edited a number of publications on COVID-19 during the time of the pandemic. Dr Woodhouse joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2020.

    Writing Experience

    Dr Woodhouse recently obtained her PhD after writing a 300-page thesis on Orai1 as a therapeutic target in hypoxic pulmonary hypertension. In the future, she plans to branch out into medical writing.
