    Dr Davies has 17 years’ experience in the field of Health Psychology. Her PhD research explored quality of life in cancer survivors. As part of this research, she developed her own patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), which led to employment with the University of Oxford to facilitate their PROMs work within the field of chronic conditions, such as diabetes, arthritis, COPD, and pain. Here, Dr Davies trained in assessing the psychometric properties of PROMs, as well as conducting scientifically rigorous and publishable systematic reviews. Since then, she has worked in an academic capacity with organizations such as Macmillan Cancer Support, the Department of Health, Southampton University, and the Royal College of Nursing. She has been employing her expertise in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry for 7 years, providing medical writing and consultancy services. Dr Davies joined Edanz Medical Writing as a medical writer in 2017.
