    Dr Embleton has over 20 years of academic experience, and has expertise in diverse fields, including neuroimaging, medical imaging, image analysis and marine biology. For 6 years, Dr Embleton was a lecturer at The University of Manchester, teaching neuroimaging techniques to MSc students and undertaking research into MRI imaging methodology development and post-processing techniques. His PhD research focused on the application of distortion-corrected fMRI and magnetic resonance diffusion imaging to studies on the neural basis of semantic memory. He has authored or co-authored 18 peer-reviewed publications and presented at numerous international conferences. He has also peer-reviewed publications for a number of renowned international journals. Dr Embleton joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2015.
