    Dr Zammit has spent 9 years working in small animal veterinary practice, with 1 year working in a specialist veterinary emergency hospital. She is skilled in general and orthopedic surgery, medicine, animal behavior, dermatology, gastroenterology, treating endocrine disorders, emergency treatments, and animal welfare. Dr Zammit spent the last 2 years working in an integrative veterinary hospital encompassing all aspects of mainstream veterinary medicine as well as preventative medicine, nutrition, and Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, chiropractic care, and herbal medicine. Dr Zammit’s background in science includes the study of fisheries and marine science, molecular biology, chemistry, ecology, and genetics. Dr Zammit joined the Edanz Group as an editor in 2014.
